Rakshasa Astonishing Faces: Exhibition of archaeological artefacts from the fictional world

The worldview of this design fiction project is set in the article "The City of Rakshasa Sea" from Liao Zhai Zhi Yi, i, a novel based on the Chronicles of China. This is a country where ugliness is beauty and ugly looks can be exchanged for power.

So we thought, if the ancient Chinese "imperial examination system" happened in this country, and officials were selected through their face value instead of their talent and ability, what kind of sparks would collide?

Let's assume that the country of Rakshasa really exists, and that archaeologists have recently made new discoveries in the country and unearthed a series of artefacts reflecting historical facts, which need to be exhibited in a museum.

Therefore, as a curatorial team, we reproduced the royal list, collage examination papers, examination syllabus and a series of other "excavated artefacts", and organised this fictional worldview exhibition "Rakshasa Astonishing Faces".
