Directing Bobby

While filming Bobby, I was struck by how quietly powerful the story was—there were no grand gestures, no dramatic twists, just a raw, honest look at a life that many might overlook. What moved me most was Bobby’s quiet strength and the way he carried himself despite everything he had been through. As a director, I felt a deep responsibility to do justice to his story—to listen more than I spoke, to observe more than I directed. In the process, I was reminded that honour isn’t always loud or visible—it’s often found in the quiet dignity of those who keep going, even when no one’s watching.
