Toy Factory Productions is seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join the Marketing Team as Marketing Executive.
This role is ideal for fresh graduates or early-career professionals who are keen to gain hands-on experience in arts marketing and publicity. The Marketing Executive will have the opportunity to build a strong professional portfolio by working across an exciting line-up of productions throughout the year.
The Marketing Executive reports directly to the General Manager.
Job Scope:
Lead the Marketing Team in the execution of marketing and publicity campaigns across all productions and company initiatives.
Assist in implementing approved marketing strategies, content plans, and promotional activities across digital, print and, on-the-ground platforms.
Contribute to the creation and coordination of marketing materials, including social media content, EDMs, posters, and publicity assets.
Assist with audience outreach efforts, including telemarketing, school outreach and community engagement calls to support ticket sales and audience development.
Coordinate and maintain marketing databases, contact lists, and outreach records.
Support publicity efforts by assisting with press materials, media coordination, and interview logistics when required.
Work closely with the Company Manager and Marketing Team to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on schedule.
Provide administrative and operational support for marketing activities, including scheduling, reporting, and campaign tracking.
Conduct basic market research and audience analysis to support campaign planning and evaluations.
Undertake other duties assigned by the General Manager or Director to support the overall objectives of the company.
In this role, you will support the planning and execution of marketing and publicity campaigns, assist in day-to-day marketing operations, and contribute to the smooth delivery of promotional activities across digital, print and, on-the-ground platforms. You will work closely with the team to ensure marketing initiatives are executed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.
Beyond campaign support, the Marketing Executive will assist with administrative and operational tasks related to marketing and publicity, gaining valuable exposure to the behind-the-scenes workings of theatre productions and arts organisations.
Requirements:
Minimum commitment of 1 year preferred.
Strong interest in the arts, theatre and cultural sector with a willingness to learn and grow within the industry.
Outgoing, confident, and comfortable with audience outreach and telemarketing, including making phone calls to schools, partners, and community groups.
Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with a wide range of stakeholders.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to support hands-on marketing execution and on-the-ground activities during rehearsals, launches, and show periods.
Able to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to contribute as part of a team.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Basic knowledge or familiarity with design and content tools (e.g.: Canva, CapCut, Adobe Suite) is an added advantage but not required.
Being bilingual in English and Chinese (written and spoken) is an added advantage.
